Elevating a Country Backyard
This project involved elevating their neglected, nearly bare backyard in the country into a “fun, exciting, welcoming, usable space” where the family could gather and entertain friends and neighbors. They hired me after a lengthy design consultation to help them realize their dream.

Another recent project involved converting an existing backyard into a wheelchair-friendly space that was both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Airbnb Townhome Transformation
This was a unique design opportunity!
My client purchased this townhome and was immediately offered a job that would require her to relocate out of state. She decided to keep the townhome and use it as an Airbnb property. She directed me to, “Design this backyard as if you were renting this property for a week. What would you like to see”.

From Blank Canvas to
Outdoor Rooms
This project involved transforming a backyard that was a blank canvas and a wish list that included 3 main scope items that she wanted to be included in the plan: a heated swimming pool, a wood-burning fire pit, and a patio space to serve as a dining area and a lounging/gathering area. She requested that all the spaces be connected but still physically defined as separate “Outdoor Rooms”.
